Re: Siberian season in Lithuania

Hi Edmundus,
Thanks for sharing your photos! They are great. I really like the blue seedling with the violet wash. I am impressed that you have made your own power point  show. Nice job.

Hi all,
siberian iris season was over yeasterday with last flower of my white
seedling. Weather of this season was much better than last, but once
there was not avoided great storm with hail, wich have done salad from
most opened flowers, but when new opened former status was restored.
This season I could enjoy good flowering and do many photos regardless
of my busyness in my main work. The season was late about two weeks
and last flower of my seedling finished yeasterday. From named
varieties first were Banish Misfortune and Lithuanian Amber, the last
was British Dykes medal winner Perfect Vision. The best by visitors
and my own opinion was Blueberry Fair. Distinguised with plentity
flowerstalks were Banish Misfortune, Tom Schafer, Ruffled Velvet, Trim
The Velvet, Isabelle and my Leonas Melenis. Most loved by ladies was
Sailors Fancy. In all all visitors were full of wonder from so many
different colors, flower shapes and other features. I have made Power
point presentation of over 70 sib. varietes including about 190 slides
for propagation siberians.
Some photos from this presentation I am sending on BeardlessIrisPhoto
list.
Good luck for all.
Edmundas,
Kaunas, Lithuania
