Rodney Barton has been kind enough to post a couple of photos showing what
one of the first generation seedlings is doing in TX.
Although she looks pure JI except for the 5 plus branches, she is part
Siberian.
She also does NOT do that here though she does show at least 3 bracts on
the stem in addition to the terminal bract, perhaps because I grow it in
the same manner as the full Siberians without much compost or water.

I'd be interested in hearing if either species is noted for showing this
kind of branching.
