I just had the most unusual and wonderful bloom ever from SIGNA seed.
Will have to check back on the lot numbers but I believe it is supposed to
be crosses to Dotted Line???
The bloom looks much similiar to a Siberian flower but unusual colors and
patterns. The falls are a royal bluish-purple with darker veins, with a pure
white signal about the size of a quarter - jumps right out at you. The
standards are small and contrast nicely being frosty powder blue with darker
veins, the stylearms are pure dark navy blue. Nice flower form to boot.
Looks like a gem but don't have a clue as to the parentage. Perhaps a PCI to
40 chrome Sib cross, it somewhat resembles Idson but much more advanced in
form and color.
Anyone get something similiar to this from SIGNA seed?
I like growing SIGNA seed but it takes a lot of space and you don't usually
get much to get excited about - except this time.
