Banish Misfortune and other bloom

It was a miserable day on Sunday but a number of brave souls did come to our
garden open house.  Everyone raved over Banish Misfortune.  It has been blooming
for a week now with 6 stalks on a first year clump!  And I look forward to a nice
bloom season with it.  One stalk actually has 7 buds!

So many people do not realize that siberians come in a range of colours.  Indy
and Chilled Wine both got rave reviews as they aren't blue.  Unfortunately Trim
the Velvet didn't bloom until Monday -- that would have elicited a few oohs and
aahs.

I'm also looking forward to buds opening on Summer Revels.  Peak siberian bloom
should happen about this weekend.  As it remains cool and damp, they are loving
it.

Also in bloom are Helicopter, Sapphire Royale, Red Royale, Super Ego and Peg
Edwards.  Over in Gloryland must have heard our threats.  After three years, it
has finally put out bloom stalks -- only a few though on a huge clump.
