Mosaic Gene in "Last Act"?

I've got Last Act flowering in the garden presently. The clump is
large and has been well established for five or six years. Today, as
I was taking my after-work stroll through the iris beds, I noticed a
peculiar flower.
A single Last Act flower shows a mosaic pattern. Most of the flower
is the usual medium blue. However, one entire standard and part of
the fall and style on the same side are white. This is the first
year this plant has done this.
Has anyone else had this experience with Last Act, or any other
variety?
