I had a similar experience with a clump of Reprise this season.  There were
three established clumps in a row, this clump was the middle one.  Every
blossom on this middle clump showed a dark splatter on all falls and
standards, while the clumps on either side were the normal Reprise blossom.
Actually it was quite beautiful, in my eyes.  I took a blossom over to Marty
and Jan and they felt it was virus.  I will watch next year to see if it
repeats...hope it does.
