Good question. Branching for more bloom is a very good question. I was
looking over our collection and see very little branching. I will have to
dig out the labels to see which do so. I personally like the older McEwans
best of all and Fieldstone is a very good nursery.
For continued bloom, some very late bloomers could be added. The one single
most heard complaint about Siberian irises is the short bloom season.
Ours are about half open with half still in bud.
