For the second time in a few years, a Siberian iris was voted the favorite iris from out-of-region at the American Iris Society's recent convention in Madison, WI. The winner of the Franklin-Cook cup was 'Tree of Songs', hybridized by Schafer/Sacks of Joe Pye Weed in Massachusetts. It was a very impressive iris at the convention where the bearded took a second place to the Siberians which were in peak bloom.
