Hi everybody!
Thanks to Anna Mae I now have both plants. I received Gull's Wing from
Julius Wadekamper of Borbeleta. (He sold this and is now selling out of a
nursery called Willowwood) I remember the article in SSI where he explained
that he took this plant out of Dr McGarvey's seedling patch after he had
died. He introduced and registered the plant on Dr. McGarvey's behalf. He
stated and believes that they are sister seedlings and stated that they
need to genetically tested to ascertain their identity.
My Esther CDM has not bloomed its first year. It is difficult to compare a
first year plant with a six year old clump. I will make further comparison
later this year (foliage) and next after blooming.
