Hi All,
I grow several Iris reticulata's, Harmony, danfordii, and lost tag!
They are indeed bulbous Iris, blooming in very early spring here. Most years
they are earlier than crocus, in Febuary and March. They have onion like foliage
that is short during bloom and lengthens after to about 12". Plant them in full
sun or partial shade in moist well drained soil. In dry soils, they seem to peter
out here after a few years. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains,
zone 6/7, Virginia. Jim Murphy
