Mea culpa.

 

I have to admit that e-mail polling certainly helped my participation in past years.  I don’t remember why I didn’t vote this year—or at least I don’t remember voting….

 

I know it’s more work for you, but I always find checking off a list much easier than trying to remember what I liked.  For those who have internet, you could probably set up an electronic voting system on the website with a list of all Siberians.  Lots of work, I know. 

 

A printed poll wouldn’t make a difference.  I’ve promised to send stuff to sister-in-law – she’s been waiting for me to put it in the mail since January.  Even if I get my letters into envelops and get stamps on them, the things seem to sit in my bag for days if not weeks.  There’s no hope for me…

The Siberian Pop. Poll that is published in the fall issue of The Siberian Iris has shown a steady decline in participation. So much so that we have a question for those who do not participate in the poll:

 

1. Would a printed poll make any difference in your participation?

 

2. You can vote anonymously....if that is a concern.

 

3. You can also vote by e-mail and the printed poll will be on the Siberian web page if we go that way. I will also have it here on Sibrob with a link.

 

(Those that are faithful participants,fear not, we would still have write-ins).
