Hi All,
Lana Higgins here and we also had a very good showing of Siberians at our
show here in Ft, Wayne, IN. It was a great show. Five tables of TBs, Two
tables of Siberians, a few Species, Two Spurias and several bashful
Louisiana's that just would not open. Of course they are open today as I
brought them home to see. What fun. By the way, there were two tables of
designs and we only have 30 members with 16 members showing their flowers and
designs. I guess I am a happy irisarian club member.
I do notice that beds that didn't get watered as much are not blooming
this year. Coronation Anthem doesn't have one bloom stalk. This is the first
year it has not bloom sense I planted it. We have had more rain in the last
few weeks. Jeweled Crown looks fabulous, of course. That Glenda Norrick I
mentioned awhile back is blooming and is a knockout. It is still planted in
the wet area and seems to be very happy.
