virus and peak bloom

I have antivirus software but not updated like it should be. However everyone needs to remember that a virus has to be known before it can be added to the virus detection programs. Several recent viruses have been widespread quickly before anyone had a defense for it. Prudence in opening suspicious messages is still needed.
My ISP has the latest and greatest antivirus that the ISP uses to scan all incoming emails. It will not let an email it says has a virus into any user's inbox. Every ISP should do the same. They also have a tremendous amount at stake from viruses. If your ISP doesn't have antivirus capability, ask them to install it. If enough people request it, the ISPs will eventually be forced to use an antivirus system. The ISP should be in a better position to react quickly to a new virus than most of us. I am not happy about the change to Sibrob not allowing attachments. I understand but still don't like it.
Now finally some some real Siberian content. My Siberians were at peak bloom this past week. The row is doing exactly what I wanted it to do except for the holes caused by the weak growers. I have a bunch of pots with some good growers that I may use to fill the holes for next years convention and for future sales. The first weekend in May 2002 will be the Region 14 convention weekend. I sure hope the Siberians show off next year like they did this year.
At Mike Zarky's request, I took a whole roll of clump shots. Unfortunately the lighting was absolutely perfect for the dead grasses behind the clumps and absolutely terrible for viewing the clumps. The row runs variably east-west on the north side of a hill. The path for viewing of the row is on the north side of the row so the viewing angle is south. The sun was early morning from the east. I badly needed an overcast day but those are few and far between this time of year.
If anyone has some suggestions for good warm climate Siberians, please either post or send directly to me. Thanks in advance.
