The message was originally addressed privately to Ellen. Somehow the
address was automatically switched back to the maillist address by the
time it was sent. Sorry about that.

Yes, the miscreant is reading these messages and using the addressee
information to conduct attacks against the list members. We have to be
careful about what we say in this maillist, because the cracker is
obviously reading the messages.

At least the no attachment policy is keeping the virus attachments out
of the maillist distributions for the present time.
