Wow, there is big difference between Zone 4 and 3...I think you
are 4 in Ottawa..our first two MDBs opened this morning. But we
have lots of SDBs in green bud..and even one MTB, 'Lady Emma'.
Siberians are growing but they have a long way to go till bloom.
Seem about average in height now with 'High Standards' being the
tallest but not by much. Hal Stahley's SIBS as well as his
bearded perform exceptionally well here. His 'Frosted Emerald'
and 'Active Duty' were rec'd last Aug. and they are growing like
gangbusters. Almost as good as Bob H.'s 'Very Victorian' which
likes it here.
See some of you in MD tomorrow (I will be the one with the most
non-flower guy in tow - my husband, Andy who is a good sport and
wants to see what I do every year at these confabs)
