Hello All,
Just returned from the convention. I have met many wonderful people and learned allot. All in all I had a great time. I saw mostly bearded irises and 95% of them were well grown. As for siberians it was a different story. First there were not very many and for the most part they were short and did not look really healthy. I did see one clump of Caesar's Brother in the Longsworth Garden that did look quite nice. It was short, but did look better than most of the other siberians I happened to see.
I have a photo of it that I will send to you, Ellen, probably this evening. Came home to a pile of work. Spring has finally come to my garden, the daffodils are out and it is time to spray for thripps. I have been killing two or three hundred slugs each morning. They came out while I was away and some of new growth looks like French lace. Looks like the dandelions will be blooming next week.
