This led me to thinking of the shortness of the few Siberians we saw in Memphis...much
warmer spring than we get in the north (up here anyway). This certainly sounds like a
valid theory.

My daffs are just beginning to bloom but the pink and yellow hyacinths are gorgeous to
make up for it. The literal freezing weather we had damaged some bearded fans - not any
TBs just medians. We will lose some bloom but the plants are intact and fine. No rot at
all so far this spring.

The TSI spring 2002 should start arriving in your mailboxes next week. It was printed
before the convention and is a looooong issue with 60 pages like spring 2001 TSI.

The 2002 TSI ballot is in this issue so please take a minute after your bloom season and
mail it in, please. We have decided to try and do it every year.
