SOILMOIST

Ken and others-
I've used soilmoist for many years. It lastforsten years. I use it in containers indoors and out. It must be mixed with soil in BOTTOM of container to work well. I also use it in seed beds mixed sparingly about 4 inches below seeding are. Otherwise itheaves the soil. I find it takes up excess moisture as well as releasing it iI have used it in'lowered' beds with LA iris, but never with sibs. I would put it well below roots when planting I think. It's a great tool well used, I think.
I'm getting lots of sib bloom now and height is erratic-older clumps have stretched, those divided or planted new last year-that survived- are blooming short. We are still getting a lot of rain for now, but water table is still low.

to fight weeds
PS Someone mentioned the possibly throwing out MISS DULUTH a while back-it's an oldie I'VE been looking for. If you're serious about disposing of even some of it, please contact me privately. Thanks
