Silver Illusion is hard to grow.  The first time we got it from Borbeleta and 
it lived through winter, produced a flower stalk in spring and died in 
summer.  The pollen formed a pod on Isabelle and on Percheron and those 
seedlings have produced many wonderful things since.  The second time we got 
it from Dale Johnson and I think one small plant still struggles to live in 
the field.  

Many great-great grandchildren of Silver Illusion are blooming in the field 
right now.  It seems to have been a great door opener along with Snow Prince.
