I really didn't want this to grow into a thread on mine JI problem on the Siberian robin
but I will answer that my bearded including TBs are doing wonderfully as well as the
Siberians are which is very well (speaking for 2001). Only a handful of SDBs and MDBs
have bloomed this year.

Only with JIs do I have the Ca problem. Currier McEwen in his book, 'The Japanese Iris'
speaks about this (and so have others in the past). There are a lot of anectodal stories
about the high calcium being injurious to JIs and at least one past hybridizer in Germany
tried to develop a _strain_ of JIs that did well. Enough from me about my JIs on the
Sibrob. Sorry.
