Just back from the AIS and LA Iris Society to find Snow Prince had been in
bloom over 1 day/2days and several of the hybrid cultivars are throwing
visible stalks, the IBs are in bloom and other medians and at least 1 TB is
showing color. I have not been to my I. typhifolia planting, maybe tomorrow.
We had a very nice time-only half a doz. Siberians in bloom in OKC but it
was good to see BlueBerry Fair, Band of
Angels and Over in Gloryland blooming at the Woodruff Garden-the were short
but had had 10" of water standing on them for at least a week. Mary Bettshad
2 seedlings in bloom one evidentyly a siberian, at least that was what the
foliage looked like and the bloom also and a Sib/Vers which had versicolor
type leaves and a similiar flower to the siberian. Does anyone know her?
