Photos posted in Shared Files area and bloom report

It has taken me awhile to get enough information to make sense of the thread
about attachments. As I am the prime guilty party, here is my understanding.
Digest mode does not include attachments which solves the problems with
slow/balky computers but it also combines all messages and sends them only
once a day. This is an unacceptable compromise to some people who like to
respond while a thread is hot. Posting to the iris-photo list has some
disadvantages also (at least I think so even though I am a member). Ergo I
tried the Shared Files feature of one-list. There are photos of Butter and
Sugar, Spirit of York and Ever Again posted to the Shared Files. Go to the
one-list member center using your email address and password. Go to Shared
Files, click on the file name and magically the image appears. Eventually we
will find the disadvantage to the Shared Files feature but until then it
appears to be the best way to keep everyone satisfied enough to stay on as a
member.

Bloom report - peak bloom is/was about right now. Having nice bloom on the
two year old clumps and a little bloom on most of the one year old plants.
Only Golden Crimping shows no sign of blooming but since it is a one year
planting, it can be forgiven. Next year should be great. My garden visitor
traffic has increased significantly over last year. This year's weather has
been great while last year's was poor to awful. I have been too busy to take
people on a tour of the Siberians. Next year I will have to post a sign
directing people to the Siberians as there is only the slightest view of
them from the TB beds. I am also planning a major expansion of my Siberian
plantings. That will be in a row between two major TB display rows and will
be much more visible to the TB visitors. If I am more organized with the
marketing of the Siberians, I know that I will be able to start selling
Siberians. Seeing the Siberians in friends garden will convince more people
to plant them. With the photos I am taking, I may be able to sell some from
now on. Success as the society or enthusiast is when other people start to
grow Siberians.
