I followed the thread on shared files but did not understand that the lack
of response implied no photos on Sibrob. One-list has a digest mode that
forwards text only without any attachments. For anyone who does not want to
receive photos or other attachments for any reason, that seems like a more
convenient approach for the whole of sibrob than the approach of no
attachments period. Digest mode can be selected from the member area so it
is easy to accomplish on an individual by individual basis. However, I will
abide by the wishes of the group as expressed by our leader.
Personally, I would love to receive images of general garden scenes that
contain Siberians. I very much enjoyed the thread on companion planting and
wished the historical thread on that topic had been more easily available.
However, I will not post general garden scenes of Siberians on iris-photo as
I do not think that group has a general interest in such. I can remember
nothing except relatively tight shots on iris-photo by anyone other than
myself. I would be willing to post such images in a sibrob shared area if
anyone in sibrob is interested.
