Yes, many of the plants at Old Douglas are very short and some are showing
color. These are all plants that have been in place since 1990-the majority,
I'd say. They have been dry this spring and last summer also. I think you
are probably correct. Farron Campbell told me last week that he feels in TX
they should plant their siberians so they are in afternoon shade. Anna
