As Kathy Guest has explained in her wonderful and usual enthusiastic manner,
we are indeed well on the road to getting our Siberian-Species 2003
convention ready.
I have prepared a special website for this convention which will have all
kinds of information on the convention and it will be available VERY soon
for viewing. (like this weekend). I will post the URL at that time. Included
will be the info for hybridizers on the submission of guest plants and an
outline of the schedule of events. For those interested in side trips before
and after the convention we have some links to our water feature (Niagara
Falls) as well as the many other tourist attractions on the Western New York
state area and the province of Ontario. LOTS to see and do! We expect lots
of real nice Siberian and species iris to be on our garden tours. ...and we
hope to see some of you join with us for the ride!

> Last night we had a planning meeting for the upcoming Y2003 Siberian and

> This convention is extraordinary in that it's not just a collaboration
> between two regions - 2 and 16.... but also because it's a collaboration
> between two COUNTRIES. The convention will be held in Canada and is
