Hi, Amoret.  Welcome to the sibrob, a robin dedicated to discussion of any/all matters related to Siberian iris, a type you clearly don't grow yet.  In fact, I don't know if Siberians
grow well in NC. Others can set you straight on that.  However, even if you don't grow Siberians I think the prerequisite is to be interested in them, not necessarily be a grower, to belong to this robin.  There is a robin for those interested in iris in general, all the types included what you have acquired.  You might want to attach yourself to that one.  If you address a message to i*@one-list.com you will get in touch with John Jones, who is the owner and who will tell you how to join that list.  Warning:  if you get started with iris you will soon become addicted like the rest of us, but it's an addiction that brings only good things, so go for it!!
