Re: Change in Attachment Policy :))_1

I have done three variants of Mesa Pearl pic. which are sent in three messages. Here is pic. scanned with resolution 150dpi, decreased 50% from 10.48/9.00cm (Wide/Height) to 5.24/4.50. The size is 13.6KB. Message _2 has attachment in which only resolution is changed to 75dpi. Very small file size only 5.08KB. Message _3: resolution 150dpi, decreased 35% from 10.48/9.00 to 3.67/3.15. File size 7.83KB. It is only twice bigger file than Ellen's origin message. I think it would be quite acceptable attachment size from 8-15KB, but more opinions will help to agrre the best.

Hello,

I just changed the policy on sending attachments to the Sibrob. Please try to
send photos that are smaller in size if possible. I am NOT a computer guru so
they is so logic in asking me anything about .jpg or .gif or sizing. If you
need some assistance, however, I can send you the names of four or five
members on this list that are knowledgeable about this.

I will ask that you DO NOT send text attachments through the Sibrob. We have
had many problems in the past and at least one person sustained a crash and
lost her files, etc.. when downloading from the Sibrob. Some folks have email
clients that don't allow for deletion before downloading.

Ok, let us try again with the smaller photos.

Cheers,

Ellen
