I just noticed that you forwarded quite a few messages that the files 
have been uploaded. You are actually not sending the image file, but 
a notification that the file is in the files area. When I uploaded 
them, egroups.com gave me the option to send this message, but I 
chose not to, as they were old photos. No biggy, but if it was 
something new, I would just click the option to send out the 
notification.

You would not have to bother to do anything on your end as a list 
owner. List members can upload their own files, and send the 
notification themselves. No work on your part, whatsoever! People 
from the list who choose to go view the file, once they log on to 
egroups.com can do so at their leisure.

I think that you might be causing youself extra grief by trying to 
send either the image or the notification out to everyone. The files 
area is just a place where list members can post images for others to 
view - it's sort of like going to an art gallery when we feel like it 
and viewing the paitings on the wall. People know that the art 
gallery is there, they know the location, and go visit when they have 
the time. If there is a new exhibit, the gallery sends out a note to 
possible interested people that "Harold's got some new art to view". 
This is what the notification does. It lets people know that new 
images have been posted to the Files area. If someone had previously 
hung a piece of art (or photo) in our art gallery (or Files area) and 
they were referring to it in their latest email to the list, all they 
have to do is mention "go check out my image of "Ever Again" in the 
Files section in Harold's sibs folder", and the list member would do 
just that, that is if they chose to view the file.
