As I understand it from your previous e-mail to the group, the kind of
comparison you are looking for is:
the same image, the same size but with different compressions etc on it to
show any potential quality drop-offs (also showing the file size reduction
by compression.)
Well, unfortunately I do not have time or inclination to produce a range of
these to illustrate it BUT you can visit the Kodak website and visit the
digital imaging area. There you will find such an array for your comparison.
They have gone to great lengths there to illustrate this and many other
interesting areas in digital photography. Proceed to www.kodak.com and
follow the appropriate links at that site to check it out. I am sure you and
others in the Sibrob discussion group will find the visit both interesting
and informative.
