Note, that plant have formed buds for spring flowering last year.
Moving plant in spring to better location maybe will not help many for
spring flowering, only for next year flowering. If the soil is loamy
and is possible to dig out and move larger strip of soil you can try.
But if the soil is sandy and friable it is better replant also with
soil as large peace as possible after flowering. In spring replant case the
contact with soil of tinny feeding roots, which must take food from
soil,generally nitrogen accumulated by the same feeding roots in the zone
of their distribution is disturbed and plant will have great problems
with nourishment and at least plant can be tortured with poor flowering
or without it.
