Re: SWALLOWTAIL

Hi Greg,

Chuck Chapman has been going through Canadian irises and making sure that
everything has been done. Sapphire Royale and Red Royale were two siberians
that were registered by the Royal Botanical Gardens many years ago but there had
been no documentation on its introduction. Catalogues selling the irises were
forwarded to Keith and they are now listed as being introduced in 1998 and
1999. There is still more research going on because eveyone knows that they
were introduced much earlier. If some evidence turns up, the correction will be
made to the checklist.

So, go ahead and do the paperwork. It can be fixed if other information comes
to light.
