Hello,
Wow these lists have been quiet for a while. When Edmundas posted the photos of
Esther x typhifolia, my brain wondered how 'he' had made that cross since the bloom
periods, at least here, are so disparate. Esther is a late bloomer and typhifolia is
the earliest here. Then the light bulb flashed: Edmundas had written that the
seedlings were grown from Signa seed. But whomever did the cross had to save the
pollen from typhifolia....
Have any of your made crosses with saved pollen? Do you freeze it? I thought that it
loses its properties unless used fresh.
I have a flat-bed scanner so hopefully I will learn how to use it for something
besides text...always hopeful. :-)
