Whoa! You folks need to move to north Idaho. No weevils, no snails, no
borers (none!), no nothin', no kiddin'.
To be a bit more honest, I just spoke to a friend who lives 8 miles away
near the wheat fields. She get voles, and they eat everything. They even
tunnel into the iris rhizome. But here I am, and have never seen a vole.
What do they look like?
We do sometimes get bears and moose, however. I don't know if they
eat iris.
