I grew 'Esther CDM' in my former garden for about 5 years and
it was a wonderful and also beautiful white Siberian. I think
I have told the story that I built a large mixed border with
Esther as the centerpiece. That was how impressive I thought
it was...and still do. That Esther was obtained from Ensata
Gardens.
I just got 'Gull's Wing' last month (from Jody Camille) and
am anxious to see its first bloom here. Esther took a while
to settle in and the first year was scanty bloom but after
that - WOW.
The only other white Siberian that I have seen that could
rival it was 'King of Kings' that was growing in the back of
the Chandler Fulton's house during the Mass. Medley in June
of 1996.
Cheers,

the leaves are beginning their downward descent of
color :))))
