Donald, Are you making any SA TB X AB crosses? Or crosses with Kalifa's horn? Once again, I really like that Thornbird seedling you posted pics of this year and last. It still looks really good, hint, hint. I just have a few SDB and Ib's blooming now, the only SA being Hagars helmet, pretty sure it's sterile, but I'll try again. Looking forward to Darts and Mini big horn, those are both new for me this year, and have stalks up. I ordered SDB Stinger last fall, but it looks like it's not going to bloom. Most things look pretty good here, except for more leaf spot than normal. We had lot's of rain, and then a colder cloudy spell for days after, that's when the spot got bad. Stalks look to be coming up good. I lined out Hookem horns last fall, it's putting up 7 stalks so far, it liked that. I'm keeping an eye on Expose' (ghio 04), I check it out everyday to see if it's gonna bloom, no sign yet <fingers crossed>. posted and KALIFA'S HORN yesterday. EAGLE CONTROL has
stalks, as does SOLAR FIRE, but they are not close to
blooming. The others look like they're giving bloom a
pass this year. Francelle pegged what is happening in the
iris patch here. Too windy to have much hope of any
pollenating success. I have very few pods showing up and
those I have are highly unlikely AB type crosses. So they
will probably be balloons or the seeds won't germinate
after planting. If we don't get some rain and cooler
weather, the TBs aren't going to have a decent bloom at
all. It may already be too late.
