I can’t be sure, of course, but your picture looks like a historic iris that I have, William A Setchel.  That may not be spelled right, and I don’t have any imformation on it.  It was one in a collection that my mother bought from Cooley’s in 1945.  It is really a magnificent old iris.

I'm trying to ID this Bloom, but have had no luck sofar. It does give me some really huge intense crosses. As you can see the size from the ruler i held next to it.
