AND YET...
It is STILL a pretty flower despite no flounces.
You see, that is the one main contention I feel is important with Space Age
irises. IMHO, I feel they MUST be a pretty flower with a nice form WITHOUT
appendages.
There are several varieties out there (and a few in my garden) that are
just horrible without appendages. They keep getting introduced, and the
pictures are fantastic with the perfect appendages, but they are not
consistently that way and the form is usually narrow hafted, so
they don't look as nice.
