{Disarmed} Re: [SpaceAgeRobin] Spring Bloom

None here yet. I had a few buds coming on some MDBs, but I fear the cold blast did those in - now the pregnant fans feel squishy.

ANY bloom I get this year will be welcome, since we had to move AGAIN. Lost some weaker things last fall, others succumbed to the winter, voles, etc. Still more now look like they are giving up after the cold snap. I haven't made a list of the losses yet - I'm procrastinating doing that unpleasant task.

But all is not lost. Some cultivars are going very well, many others are hanging in there. My seedlings (seeds from 2003 crosses, planted in 2005, '05 germinators were eaten by slugs (didn't get the bait on quick enough), then I set the pots aside and forgot them, got a handful of '06 germinators that survived life in pots/moving/lack of water/too much water/general abuse/etc.) look wonderful! A couple of them may even bloom... Got a couple of 'Time Traveler' kids by various parents among them. :-)

Anybody have any bloom yet ? We had a snow storm yesterday here in
Montreal so I figure we won't seem much from TB's until mid to late
June. I'm been a long Winter ;-(
