We're down to the last few spuria and TB. We had a week of 35oC plus which
finished off most things, except the Japanese and Daylilies which are in
full swing.
HoneyScoop has been a very nice surprise as a breeder. Having seen it's
offsring I've used it a lot more this year than I did the last few years.
Haven't seen enough to be certain of the appendage consistancy.
Deja Blue Blue has also given some nice babies. One cross DB x Autumn
Thunder gave a beautiful wide blue with a wonderful perfume, but no
appendages.
The prize parent would be Momenteous Occasion, gives wonderfully wide hafted
offspring and interesting forms.
Haven't seen enough to say of anything that it is a generally bad parent.
