red irises

From pretty far back War Chief a Schreiner's introduction is about as red as anything gets growing here. Under some other growing conditions it appears darker and more ripe mulberry than red. I've not seen much progress in the color beyond it. But, there remains a bunch I've not seen in the flesh.... but gonna.
