Ghio's new intros BEWITCHMENT and FOR THE SOUL involve FOGBOUND as the pollen parent. Additionally, I have seen other seedling photos that speak well for FOGBOUND. It has branching, form, bud count and growth rate that are excellent. I have examined numerous photos of its blooms and have been unable to discern a shelf on any. FOGBOUND has a tint to the falls that is not present in the standards that has appeal to me personally for the potential that may be there. On the FOGBOUND blooms that tint is a detractant, again for me personally, making the falls appear dirty. This tint becomes more visible as the blooms age. But, intensified as in the case of Ghio's FOR THE SOUL, the bloom color become glorious!
