High Master I would like to try. Who's Your Daddy? I just cannot make myself use one with such an offensive name.... Reminds me of New York Yankees. <laughin'>

This year WEARING RUBIES was almost the first to bloom. It has weathered the storms with excellent  substance of the blooms. I also saw it in San Jose Ca. with the same bloom quality.

WR increase is slow here but it does bloom attractively and stalks are pretty good. It bloomed near midseason here, but only had one growing season (9 months) to acclimate. I have some first year seedlings up from WR x Fiery Temper (grows well). I expect great things from this cross. Of course, I expect great things from every cross. I have no idea what color or pattern they will be. I can be disappointed only if no red beards appear and all the standards flay open.

Also have some WR x Chinese Treasure (a favored old ('84?), grand Blyth red beard here). Southerners never mind bein' called or goin' backwards.

Machismo photo in Tempo catalog speaks well for the potential of WR.

Who's Your Daddy? Yep! For sure runs through many I like including WR. Still, Hellifiknow woulda' been a more useful name down and round here.

Smiles,
Bill Burleson
