Bill, 

That's some mighty fine writing for a guy who proclaims to be lazy. 
You've hit the nail on the head about Neil.  He's injected spirit 
into this little society that overflows from the written word, 
through the monitor, and keeps my mind in a very good place during 
these cold dark depressing winter months. 

My enthusiam has never been greater for growing Irises than it is now 
and I'm looking forward to the future of  SAGE.  

Some definitions for sage in the dictionary are:

One(as a profound philosopher) distinguished for wisdom.
Wise through reflection and experience, good judgement
