Don Spoon

<The AIS has a resource we haven't discussed tapping in Don Spoon.  He is, I believe, a doctoral level biologist with a great deal of genetic expertise>

Just wanted to add my thoughts to Neil's mention of Don Spoon.  I've been following his (and Ginny's) work (although probably not to the level any of you genetic/hybridizing officionados would!) because he's fairly close in climate to my greater Detroit area, and works a lot with cold-hardy cv's and rebloomers.  I also have quite of few of their intro's.  I think it's a wonderful idea to invite him to join in the SAGE project, or at least be consulted.  Winterberry Gardens' catalogs are my 'bible' - chock full of valuable info, and Don's knowledge/experience/input would be invaluable, IMHO.

For what it's worth - Neil, your suggestion has my vote!
