Just a point of clarification.
The comments I add to each list are based on our own photos, photos
posted to iris-photos and video tapes of our own iris or visits to other
gardens. Just thought you oughta know.
I am deeply thankful to all those who have responded so promptly. I
guess it is time for me to go thru Cathy's list an post what has been
consistent for us. Maybe some of those will prove to be consistent
through a range of Zones.
In the meantime folks in other climes can post their own list of
cultivars that are consistent for only type of SA expression. Members in
different Zones can begin to confirm those results or note any
exceptions they might have experienced. This second round of list won't
be as thoughly test throughout all zones as the first but should still
give us some good candidates for crosses involving a single variable SA
trait.
