Horns here in Zone 9b are bare. almost like a beard stem without the
beard. Seems to have normal bearded horns in Zones 7-8. At least its
consistent for horns but I suspect the BSE looking beards might be signs
of latent flouncing.

Another one with consistent horns but also has a very thick beard stem
in some zones. I wonder if any of its prodigy have flounces?

Known to be variable even in color, from very deep tones to very pale in
Patrick Orr's Valley of the Sun.

No info on this one.

The recent photo I posted showing the effects of weather anomalies
showed latent traits of horns, spoons, flounces.hooked horns etc. Its
progeny show these traits so genetically it has multiple SA genes.

Seems to be consistent for just horns but doesn't have the consistency
in colder climes that CANAVERAL has.

consistent for horns and a rebloomer but HOWDY DO has better horns.

Has small spoons at the end of the horns here in Z9

Has that bristly looking extension and the ends of the horns. Had better
horns on the rebloom this year.

Just a hint of a spoon at the end of the hooking horns in 9b

>

better horns than HI and seems be consistent.

pretty consistent for small spoons to small flounces extending from the
end of the horn here.

no info contrary to this one being consistent also.

Same here. another one that may be consistent

Now thats interesting because it usually has horns in warmer zones???

Same variations here

Small spoon-like extensions at the end of the horns here.

>

pretty consistent through most zones but occasionally will have horns
instead.

>

larger horns here but still consistent for horns

Kinda figured finding consistent horns would be an easier task than
consistency in flounces :-(
