Re: [SpaceAgeRobin] DATA Collecting on Consistency

I am slowly compiling the information available from here. It will be the first part of next week before I complete it. It's not so much that I must deal with a lot of data.
The problem results from a flawed system of data collection.
My lazy nature relied on photos for collecting and recording data concerning expression, dates, and consistency. Using plan B to compile the info now (hybridizing tag info, seed envelope collection envelope, archived photos, calandar notes, daily planner notes).

We need a standardized checklist of traits that can be ticked off for data collection.

I try to keep such things simple for my own ease of thinking. Petaloids are any appendage with the texture of a petal. Horns are anything fuzzy like a beard. Petal appendages seperate from the midline of the fall and include spoons, flounces and poly-flounces. Beard extensions are anything attached to the beard stem after it seperates from the fall. Horns would be simple extensions of the beard. Hooked horns can be either curved like a fish hook or simply grow vertical at some point.Petaloids can develop along the beard extension but never seem to be as complete or full as when they are petal appendages. "Bottlebrushes" are what I call beard extensions that are a conglomerate of beard, stem and petaloid. The result looking like a well used bottlebrush missing most of its bristles.

Course, I could just take my wife out there ever so often during bloom season. She is already ticked off.
