Great idea Chris! I think about some of the crosses I made that produced seedlings that were inferior. If I had known a head of time that those particular irises had been tried, with poor results, I would have passed on making those crosses.
Good to know about Honey Scoop, I've had it for years, but have never used it in a cross.
I tend to use Free Space quite a bit, because it's seedlings are usually vigorous  with strong bloom stalks. Just need to work on flower color. I have a seedling from Free Space, and Sky Hooks, that is white with blue horns, that has a fine line of silver banding on the top of the standards, that I crossed with Puccini this spring! Curious to see what that will produce.
