{Disarmed} [SpaceAgeRobin] Re: Flat Space Agers

Christian,

Thanks for posting this info, VERY interesting indeed. I'd love to
take you up on your offer to trade plants but we would have cross
border issues to deal with. I used to freely ship rhizomes to the
States labeled as bulbs but I don't know if things have changed
dramatically or not in the last few years.

I tried to order from Riverview once a few years ago but wasn't
comfortable with the lack of customer service. They would need to
hire somebody to take care of communications to address specific
customer concerns. Well, that was 4 or 5 years ago, maybe things have
changed. They have a real treasure chest of forgotten classics that
I'd love to choose from. I'd love to get a start of Clematis one
day.

I'll also keep my eye out for Fibrated Space, sounds very
interesting.

Chris

Free Space will be critical because they have a very high "dosage" of
flat in their pedigree. (FimSpace has the overlapping style seam I
mentioned yesterday.) Pom Pon Two and Cut Crystal, pod mates of Pom
Pon One - which is described as having flounces-, should also play
key roles. The Rudolph intros also add in rarely seen plicata genes.

Riverview, although not all necisarily in the same year. Oh, and
Riverview just intro-d a new flat...two years ago... which I think
has SA genes.... Tugs the Heartstrings. (If it's not Tugs with the SA
genes then it's something Moonscape intro from Argyle Acres about the
same time) I have two plants labeled Tugs but only one has so far
bloomed for me, and it was an imposter.

I think it was stunted by the freeze and I wouldn't expect it to show
SA its first year since TB didn't. So as yet I don't have any proof
of my pudding... or is it pudding for my proof.
