Posted this to iris photos, but not much response (OK, none).  I really like this as a flower and the appendages are consistent.  Great form, branching bud count etc. A cross of two space age flowers, (Blow Torch X Awakening) X Bride's Blush.  2 of the 5 sibs had appendages, one was a completley tweaky flower, this one is very stable.  The other three had great branching also, espcially a pale pink reverse.  Seedling # Q-573

I know I didn't see this one on iris photos! You may regret posting it here because I intend to bug the sh#* out of you till its introduced. What I see and read here suggests  a whole new set of color/patterns.  I think its color pattern is as unique as Ernst's sanded plicatas. Any more info on color/pattern of its sibs ? Is it "ringed" or "banded" as it appears in the photo? Too many other questions.

It is a shame so very few people are working on consistent appendages. The shotgun effect resulting from just trying to get SA seedlings of any kind has given us a lot of SAs with the potential of either/or/both horns and flounces.

If you don't introduce it at least use it as breeder. It should have quite a variety of progeny.

It seems to me that breeding consistent SAs is similar to and just as difficult as consistent rebloomers.
